Our clients are encouraged to address their complaints to the Chairman, Kenya Veterinary Board through:

Clearly written letters with explicit details of the nature of complaints.
Making calls to telephone number +254-722305253.
Personal visit to the Board Offices at Kabete between 8:30am -1.00pm and 2.00pm – 5.00pm from Monday to Friday.
E-mail messages to info@kenyavetboard.or.ke or by writing
a letter to the Registrar Kenya Veterinary Board, P.O. Box 513-00605, Uthiru, Nairobi, Kenya.
Depositing complaints in the suggestion and corruption prevention box at our office.

How to Make A Complaint

The Board may, either on its own motion or as a result of a complaint or charge or allegation lodged with it by any person, institute an inquiry into the conduct of a registered person for the alleged act or omission in a veterinary practice to which this Act applies or in contravention of this Act or Regulations.

The procedure for inquiries and complaints handling is prescribed in Sections 34 and 35 of VSVP Act 2011 and Sections 12 and 13 of the VSVP Act Regulations 2013.

Inquiry & Discipline by The Board

Disciplinary action will be taken against registered professionals who flout provisions of the published Code of Ethics and/or VSVP Act 2011.

Persons aggrieved by the decision of the Board may appeal to the High Court of Kenya for redress.

Concluded Cases/Hearing

All concluded cases will be published in the Kenya Gazette.
